I almost forgot what’s the meaning of holiday. Thanks to incompetent &*($*#@ who keeps me busy and dejected, I am fully occupied this summer.
Unfortunately… or rather, fortunately… I got blocked from accessing my SMU online services. Including email.
So as I wrote this, I pray for my puny little 100mb mailbox has not yet overflown. I remember at least its 75% filled with various horrible things worthy of damnation.
However, detaching myself from the inbox is ain’t half bad.
For the first time during summer holiday, I know what is summer. Relaxing, enjoying myself, ‘karoke’ing, watching not-so-original DVD film featuring one of my favorite Drew Barrymore and living my day to the fullest like there is tomorrow and, like what you might have realized, blogging!
Maybe I should redefine holiday.
Summer holiday is when you could legally detached yourself from your email inbox.
Quite apt.

Now that you’ve got the meaning of Holiday, FYI the same applies to the rest of the days of your life. If you were you were to die tomorrow (*touch wood* n *fingers-crossed*) would you regret not having studied an hour extra each day of your life of not having had spent enough time with friends and family having fun … ? Don’t let the inbox rule your life (or holidays as you discovered).
Cheers, have fun and if I may so say “make someone happier today!” =)
